New to me is this fantastic photographer of which I can’t wait to see more of his work. It is very inspiring and beyond words. To me, it’s almost as if he’s capturing more time than just the moment, hard to describe but it’s truly wonderful photography and I encourage you to not only view his work, but to study it because he is one of the worlds great photographers. It’s days like today where my tripod is worth the gold coloring in the photo, it was very cold and lots of shaky hands, but I got the shot I was looking for.

Lesson: Keep digging till you find your shot. I was out for about 3 hours looking for something different to shoot, and heading home with no luck, but kept my eyes wide open all the way, and only a short distance before arriving, I found this little gem to shoot and it was worth the wait.

Hope you like, I’m very happy with this photo. Have been making use of mirror lockup and remote trigger in my camera along with tripod, and love the sharpness it helps me attain.

To celebrate the 5000 site visits, I wanted to share something special and push myself to be extra creative. HDR is a new journey for me and this photo I did inspires me to do more and hopefully you as well. So, a big thanks to all my visitors. I may not blog daily or weekly, but when I do I try to make it something worth sharing. I’ve always loved texture in photography and loved how it turned out in this photo as well as I intentionally tried to give a silver feel. Hope you like the photo, and hope you continue coming back to visit…
